I was born in Kenya which is a small country on the east coast of Africa, we moved to the US when I was in middle school, even though English is an official language in Kenya it was still very difficult to assimilate to a new culture especially when kids make fun of your accent and name. But I did not let that stop me I was lucky enough to attend a magnet high school that had programs focused on aviation and computer science which drew and nurtured my interest in aviation and programming which ultimately shaped who I am today.
